Time spent in Nature is revitalising and offers different benefits, such as lower stress levels, sleeping and mood improvement, and immune system reinforcement. Our current lifestyle, more and more sedentary with long indoor activities and an overall alienation from Nature, would seem to cause the so-called “nature-deficit disorder”. It would affect our mental and physical health and that of our children, causing a loss in the use of our senses, attention issues, an increase in obesity, mental fatigue, and an overall rise in mental and emotional illness. What about learning to extend the benefits of being in Nature even when we are inside? What about cradling ourselves towards the following hike in the forest or stroll at the seaside (or other)? How? Via a series of easy-to-do and reproduce exercises. It can be body movements, dynamic relaxation, or breathing techniques. We will add to that “visualisation”, i.e. our mental capacity to represent an image, a sound, an emotion, or a sensation. A precision is worth it as, despite its name, visualisation can also be accessible to those who are more familiar with the evocation of either sounds or perceptions, rather than images. Our brains cannot make any difference between reality and fiction. Have you ever experienced that the only fact of thinking of your best dish would make your mouth water? Or to crying or being scared stiff watching a movie? Well, we will train this capacity of ourselves to evoque Nature. Therefore, we will profit from both dynamic sophrology® and a connection with Nature. More in particular, this could be a learning process towards: better handling stress and emotions (éco-anxiety, among others) calm down our mind feel more anchored, self-confident, relaxed adjust our energy levels reconnect with ourselves This cycle will start with a minimum of 4 registrations. Come back to ourselves. Get in touch with our sensations, the energy flowing in our body, and needs. Become aware of them, mindfully present to what we are experiencing in the present moment. Learn to adjust their manifestations to reach a “better being”. Let go of our articular and muscular tensions. In other words, become aware and reinforce our Body Intelligence that allows us to : - remain in the present moment - feel more grounded and balanced - calm our mental rumination strengthen our self-confidence - avoid and better live stress - improve the quality of our sleep - better live our emotions and balance a possible excess of their expression Learning to explore ourselves to - discover our own resources, strengthen them, and use them autonomously to reach our goals - greet our needs and find the most appropriate way to satisfy them These are some of the aims of dynamic sophrology®, a holistic body-mind and energy approach, inspired by Oriental and Western practices, such as yoga, meditation, Chinese energetics, existentialist philosophy, and C. G. Jung’s individuation process. I will be glad to accompany you through this cycle to learn more about this method.
